Don and Theresa Gooch, former real estate broker/owners in Southern Oregon joined the Heron Club management team ten years ago. They love Eugene, the wonderful people, it’s beauty and glorious bike trails throughout the city. Sunny vacations call to them, and so it’s handy they have a daughter in San Diego! Don a philosopher and researcher relaxes with books, his interests and knowledge on nearly every subject from sports and players, to cultures and religions are amazing. Theresa loves walks on the beach, nature singing in all its’ forms, cooking, home decorating, gardening, and connection with family and friends. She’s authored a children’s book, ‘It Was My Star’- a ‘feel good’ inspirational book.
Jeremy Booth, assistant manager the last three years is also a musician playing in gigs from CBGB’s in New York City to Washington state. He has a degree in English with a writing emphasis and is a member of Eugene’s Natural History Society. He is one of the few in United States to have attained his shodan (black belt) in the martial art Seibukan Jujutsu. When things need repaired, it’s Jeremy that can figure most anything out!
Chad Murray an artist, craftsman, outdoorsman and Heron Club’s landscape engineer, the one
who keeps the Heron Club grounds detailed and happy including growing a spectacular
rose garden every year. These are the roses that grace the clubhouse from May through October! He loves fishing, river rafting trips, golfing and well, all the sports. Duck season is
Chad’s favorite. Go Ducks!
